Project: Revitalizing GraBees Honey Brand

Immersed in the ancient charm of Rome, I embarked on a graphic design odyssey to redefine the label for GraBees, a local honey producer. Inspired by the historic Porta Maggiore gate, nestled near the Aurelian Walls, my design seamlessly weaves the city’s legacy with the vibrancy of beekeeping. The gate stands adorned with honey bees in flight amid olive branches, a nod to cultural significance and prosperity. The transparent plastic bee atop symbolizes the project’s transparent connection to Rome’s rich heritage.

This journey allowed me to wander the Aurelian Walls, passing under the iconic Porta Maggiore gate, and witness firsthand the bustling bee hives amidst Rome’s hustle. Drawing from life, I captured the essence of GraBees, merging history, nature, and cultural symbolism into a visually compelling label that encapsulates the sweetness of honey and heritage.

Integrated Marketing & Design through Branding and Creativity

As a Marketing Assistant at Saxton, an Interior Design Firm in Des Moines, Iowa, I spearheaded the refinement of Saxton’s brand identity. Collaborating closely with the design team, I contributed to perfecting client RFPs, presentations, brochures, and strategic promotional videos.

My responsibilities extended to managing Saxton’s WordPress site and blog, where I curated engaging content. In social media, I took the lead in designing and strategizing impactful posts for Instagram and Facebook.
