Revitalizing GraBees Honey Brand
During my study abroad in Rome, I took on a graphic design challenge to reimagine the label for GraBees, a local honey producer located near the historic Porta Maggiore gate. Inspired by this lively area near the ancient Aurelian Walls, I designed a label that blends history with nature; it shows the gate with honey bees flying among olive branches—a nod to prosperity from community and collective effort. A clear plastic bee adds dimension to the design, bringing a bit of Rome’s layered history to life. This project was a unique way to apply my fine art skills to graphic design, merging the sweetness of honey with the city’s rich history.

As a Marketing Assistant at Saxton, I was hands-on in producing promotional content and leading digital marketing campaigns, with a critical focus on video editing to tell compelling brand stories. I transformed ideas from collaborating with the marketing, sales, and design teams into impactful videos for client presentations, social media, and our website. Each project involved many iterations in perfecting the visual storytelling and technique needed to highlight our products and services in an engaging way that drives interest. With Vinyl Cup Records, I was responsible for the creative vision and digital presence across four record store locations and several music artists. My role spanned website redesign, social media strategy, and email campaigns, each tailored to resonate with a diverse audience of music enthusiasts. I directed branding and content for stores and artists, managing logistics, artist schedules, and promotions. This role underscored my ability to balance creativity with business strategy, turning insights into impactful digital marketing.
